Diamond Celtic and Claddagh Engagement Rings Family crest rings Irish Gifts for every occasion Celtic and claddagh wedding bands

This is a special piece of Jewellery as it contains your Family Coat of Arms or Family Crest, hand engraved on a heavy 14kt signet ring. It is a ring that can be passed down from generation to generation and is available in shield or oval.

Shield: The colors and charges (lions, designs, etc. that appear on the shield) are a part of the official blazon, but the shape of the shield is not. Shield shapes vary according to the geographical origin as well as the time period.

Crest: Also a part of the official blazon, the crest is whatever appears above the helm. (Note that there is not always a crest for every coat of arms.)

Unfortunately we cannot accept any family jewelry back for exchange (we will resize) or refund as all these pieces are individually hand made and then hand engraved.

Byrne Family Crest

Byrne or O達yrne, together with its variants Beirne and Byrnes, is one of the ten most frequent surnames in Ireland today. In the original Irish the name is O Brion, from the personal name Bran, meaning "raven". It is traced back to Bran, son of Molmorda, a king of Leinster who ruled in the eleventh century. As a result of the Norman invasion, the O達yrnes were driven from their original homelands in Co.Kildare into south Co.Wicklow in the early thirteenth century. It was from Ballinacor in the valley of Glenmalure in that county that Fiach MacHugh O達yrne waged his campaigns against the armies of Elizabeth I, with considerable success; his most noted victory was the defeat of Lord Grey in 1580. He was apprehended and executed in 1597. His son Phelim was the last chief of the O達yrnes, and he was finally dispossessed of his lands in 1628. After the disasters of the seventeenth century some of these O達yrnes migrated north to Ulster and changed their name to Burns, a Scottish surname common in east Ulster.....

Ken - Hadn't had the opportunity to write you before now but wanted to let you know we received the custom-designed coat of arms ring on June 30, 2006. This ring was purchased as a surprise anniversary gift for my husband. With little notice, you recreated a beautiful replica. The quality and workmanship of this ring is "brilliant" and anytime he wears this ring, he receives many compliments. Thanks again for the superb job!

Brian Biggins, USA - (2004)
I received the family crest ring and think it is brilliant! We gave it to out eldest son Rory for a graduation present. He is VERY pleased. Thank you so much for a fine product. Please keep the Biggins crest on file. I think I will shortly order another

I don't want this mail to sound gushy but honest to God, I'm thrilled with the ring. It arrived this morning to my desk and I felt like an seven year old getting his first real bike (without the stabilizers of course!). Your service and handicraft have been a credit to you and your staff. I promise when I'm next in Dublin I'll drop in to say hello. Thank you most sincerely and keep in touch

Christine Caine, Berwyn PA USA - (21st March 2006)
Hello Ken, I just received the ring and I wanted to tell you how happy I am. It is just beautiful. From the start, working with you has been a pleasure. You are so helpful and and attentive. I can't wait to give the ring to my father in law on his 70th birthday. Thank you so much for everything! Christine

George Alonso, Miami Florida - (29th August 2005)
Dear Ken: Just a few lines to let you know that I received the ring today. It is beautiful and perfectly engraved with my family's Coat of Arms. After having "hurricane Katrina" passing "literally" over my house last Thursday, and having been without electricity for over two days, this ring feels like a well deserved "reward". You sure can count, from now on, with a new client. Cordially yours, George Alonso PS: I'm going to recommend "allcladdagh" to all my friends.
